This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:

Lead a high visibility team of engineers and analysts to facilitate Root Cause Analysis teams on internal corrective action requests (ICARs) as well as government issued corrective action requests (CARs) for identifying the root cause of the failure and overseeing the containment/ corrective action process
Lead a team of engineers and analysts to review processes, procedures, and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Review practices, procedures and processes seeking avenues to improve efficiency and effectiveness and reduce risk to product quality.
Lead program level Preventative/Corrective Action Board, Customer/ DCMA Working Group on Corrective Actions
Facilitate root cause, corrective action analysis for program quality escapes and customer complaints
Develop and track metrics to identify improvement areas across the Sentinel program
Ensure compliance with contract program, quality, organizational, and industry alert requirements.
Define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs.
Engage in preventative actions to avoid cost/schedule or risk to quality
Functional (people manager) and assignment manager for the Corrective Action
Preventative Action Department (approx 6 full time direct employees with additional assignment personnel as required.)
Meet regularly with the Customer and DCMA on CAR closure paths

This position standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 6 years related experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Experience improving processes for efficiency and effectiveness
1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
Experience briefing to high level audiences, Customer, DCMA and/or Internal Leadership

Experience interacting with US Air Force Customers and/ or DCMA
CMMI, Six Sigma or other Lean training
Experience in ICBMs or Aerospace programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
4 years' experience working in an AS9100 or ISO9001 certified workplace
Project Management Professional or other formal project management training
AS9100D Auditor Training
* Experienced people (functional) and assignment manager, min 2 years as a people manager.
Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
