This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.

The selected candidate will support development and lead implementation of engineering solutions for complex data center and communication systems. The selected candidate will leverage their technical expertise in various technical review boards as it pertains to these systems and will work within engineering among a variety of disciplines to develop implementation planning while interfacing with both NG & customer stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work alongside responsible engineers and customer community to manage production, review, coordination, and implementation of configuration change packages
Develop and review technical change documentation and technical publication material
Facilitate and lead technical engineering reviews prior to Configuration Change Board (CCB) to ensure collaboration across all NG stakeholders
Ensure CCB packages contain concise technical content to meet implementation and fielding needs with clear planning presented to customer, management, and program stakeholders
Champion and defend priorities for resolution of deficiencies through Technical and Software Review Boards
Track and report on change package implementation, temporary modification status, and upcoming implementation activities required by engineering change boards
Lead change in process and culture for change implementation using Agile principles
The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote, hybrid, or telework available for this position. This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of related engineering experience.
Experience with troubleshooting small to large scale data center infrastructure
Experience in managing projects from concept through implementation
Solid understanding of engineering process with execution experience across the program lifecycle
Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance. This SAP must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs. (Of note: Additional SAP clearance may be required once in role.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Current applicable Special Program Access
Broad technical understanding with insight into maintenance operations
Familiarity with Configuration & data management
Familiarity with Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) management
Experience with JIRA and Agile Process Management
* Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills
Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders
Primary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
