Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Operations Planner and an experienced * Senior Operations Security (OPSEC) Planner to join our team that works onsite at the Pentagon in Washington DC.
In this role you will support the Air Force Information Operations (IO) Directorate with planning in support of operations with a focus on strategy, policy, force design, and education oversight for Information Operations. Candidates should understand the role and responsibility of IO within Air Force operations planning cycle. Apply military support concept to the direct oversight of IO programs and initiatives. Apply planning, programming and budgeting techniques to support government oversight of IO projects. Understand the role of Congress in IO resourcing and how oversight leads to the efficient execution of resources for the Department.

The
Senior Information Operations Planner should be a subject matter expert and have demonstrated experience in at least one area of IO; military deception, military information support operations, or operations security (OPSEC).
The
Operations Security (OPSEC) Planner * should be a subject matter experts and have demonstrated experience in OPSEC and familiarity with IO, military deception, and military information support operations.
These positions can be filled at the Principal or Sr Principal level.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Level:

Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant, related experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of relevant, related experience
US Citizenship is required
Active TS/SCI clearance is required for consideration
Willing to undergo a CI poly, if required
Experience supporting IO efforts in support of military requirements
Experience supporting senior staff officers
Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Level:

Bachelors degree and 8 years of relevant, related experience or a Masters degree and 6 years of relevant, related experience
US Citizenship is required
Active TS/SCI clearance is required for consideration
Willing to undergo a CI poly, if required
Experience supporting IO efforts in support of military requirements
Experience supporting senior staff officers
Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

12 years' experience supporting IO efforts in support of military requirements
Previous military headquarters staff experience
Experience with program management
Experience with force design and career field management
Experience supporting Air Force or Joint IO planning
Experience supporting IO operational planning in support of military requirements
Experience briefing senior US government officials
Familiarity with DoD and Service IO policy and processes and the Joint Planning Process
Team builder, collaborator, effective communicator, capacity to manage senior level engagements
Ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints
* Able to provide direction to determine priorities to achieve goals
Primary Level Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
