This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
This selected candidate will serve as the Security Education and Training Awareness Specialist for the Sentinel program.
What You'll Get To Do:
This position will ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities.
This position will analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program for both the Program Security and Collateral Security Teams and support the Facility Security Officer and the Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer.
This position will conduct indoctrination and refresher training for all General, non-SAP/SAP-specific, or company-wide security briefings and process and collect all associated training documentation and annual pre-screening questionnaire and associated templates and upload into the government system of record.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This position can be filled as a level 2 or a level 3
Job Qualifications
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Industrial Security Analyst: Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience, or Masters with 0 years of related experience (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree)
Principal Industrial Security Analyst: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Masters with 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of related experience with a PhD (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree)
Required for Both Level(s):
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Working knowledge of systems such as JADE, DISS or SIMS
Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoD 5205.07 and security instructions, etc.
Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications and customer service
Accustomed to briefing and training personnel, customers, and stakeholders at all levels
Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Self-starter with minimal supervision
Completed security training (ex. CDSE) is a plus
Basic knowledge of access controls and security systems
Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas
Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Primary Level Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
