The candidate will work closely with Lab and Test Operations personnel, various project Program Managers, and Test Leadership in providing status and health of current and future projects. The candidate will be a primary point of contact to communicate status on various lab upgrade projects. Additionally, the selected candidate will act as a local TSC coordinator for all FSR training activities in Rancho Bernardo. This position is located in Rancho Bernardo, CA.
Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. This is an individual contributor role that can be filled at either level.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing any change to the FSR curriculum.
On Site & assisting FSR account access, seating, RB onboarding.
Coordination of student progress with PAX FSR Manager, Palmdale Management, etc.
Deconfliction/Scheduling of TSC FSR Training shift with GSEG, MS, Test etc to accommodate training for Triton FSRs.
Test proposal efforts to coordinate and consolidate Task Assessments, Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROM), etc. in support of future projects.
Provide Cost Account Management for Test Statements of Work (SOW). Will be responsible for tracking project status and reporting Earned Value Management data to Test and project Leadership.
Provide updates for the program specific Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) regarding status of progress for the Test Statements of Work (SOW).
Responsible for reporting and updating project and Test calendars to reflect latest status and forecasts.
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and presenting performance program metrics to Leadership.
Facilitate working group meetings to track, monitor, and follow up on actions and tasks for multiple projects.
Project manager for various capital, program, and NCTA projects
Support daily standup meetings.
Identify and resolve logistical issues promptly, minimizing impact on project timelines and budgets.
Basic Qualifications for Project Manager:
2 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree OR 0 years of relevant experience with master's degree.
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project (Scheduling), and/or Power Point.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Manager:
5 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree OR 3 years of relevant experience with master's degree OR 1 year of relevant experience with Ph.D.
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project (Scheduling), and/or Power Point.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with multiple test disciplines (Specialty, Lab, Flight, or Instrumentation).
EVMS / Cost and Schedule / Project Management Experience and ability to obtain NGC Cost Account Management (CAM) certification.
Ability to identify and address program impacts through systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors and promptly resolves conflicts across all levels of the program.
* Ability to monitor/control program plans, cost and schedule baselines that meet both program contractual requirements and stakeholder expectations.
Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
