The candidate will oversee the functional activities of the PS leaders and employees assigned to this region. The technical disciplines within the region include: Reliability Maintainability & Testability (RMT), Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Modeling & Simulation (ModSim), Support Equipment (SE) Engineering, Support Hardware, Prognostics & Health Management (PHM), Supportable Low Observables, Obsolescence Management, Training & Training Systems Design, Technical Data, Support Hardware, and Product Support Management.
This role provides leadership in the region for the 12 PS Technical Disciplines by working with the PS National Director and peers to translate PS, Sector and Corporate imperatives into priorities that will successfully drive value and results in alignment with those imperatives.
As the senior PS leader at the site, the successful candidate will:
Shape and create a strong, positive, innovative and resilient culture and set the vision, tone and expectations for high performance at every level
Resolve technical and performance challenges related to the PS technical disciplines
Translate Sector and Corporate objectives into yearly executable goals and initiatives
Be a change agent - leading, implementing and integrating initiatives to continuously improve PS processes & tools that drive value to programs
Manage conflicting priorities and prioritize available resources to meet objectives
Partner with the PS Center and Division Directors, Program Chief Engineers, Engineering Department Heads, and local Program Directors to ensure a strong understanding of priorities, challenges and opportunities and collaborate to solve problems and provide value to programs
Build and maintain strong partnerships gaining alignment/commitment across functions, sectors and programs
Have strong social and emotional intelligence to effectively navigate and provide guidance for challenges that arise at every level throughout the organization
Foster a "one leadership" team mindset and approach across the Rancho Bernardo/El Segundo leadership team to maximize potential and strengthen a collaborative environment
Set a high standard of leadership through example and by providing thoughtful, respectful, candid and connected feedback and recommendations for development.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in STEM AND 10+ years of related professional/military experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry that includes a background in key leadership positions, OR a Master's degree AND 8+ years of related professional/military experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry that includes a background in key leadership positions.
Must have at least 5 years of total experience in at least one of the following design and development technical disciplines: Reliability and Maintainability, Logistics Support Analysis, Modeling/Simulation, Support Equipment Engineering, Support Hardware or Obsolescence Management.
Must have at experience as a leader of large (>100) teams.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher) that is in-scope (granted or renewed within 6 years).
Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable time as determined by business need.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance (in-scope)
Current/Active Special Program Access (PAR)
Knowledge and application of all PS Technical disciplines or DoD Integrated Product Support elements
Experience working across the total program lifecycle with emphasis on influencing platform design in order to optimize the fielded support solution.
Experience with International Product Support solutions
Experience with or exposure to digital design initiatives / solutions to include Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Model Based Sustainment (MBS)
Experience with and/or understanding of DoD Logistics / Sustainment / Modernization / Maintenance customers and military aircraft mission types and execution
Proven ability to interact skillfully and diplomatically with executive leadership, colleagues and stakeholders

Salary Range: $197,600.00 - $296,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
