Northrop Grumman is looking for a Timekeeping & Labor (TK&L) Lead for the ERP team.
This position is not location specific and can be performed virtually.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide leadership and support of the 1ERP Business Technology Partners (Level 3) within the Timekeeping and Labor Team
Serve as Process Team Lead managing recurring work, assigning priority, and gathering ticket status
- Represent the Timekeeping and Labor team on different projects that the team supports
- Regularly interact with the Sector Cost Accounting/Labor Accounting/Payroll/CATS Help Desk teams
- Investigate issues reported by Business process Champion (L2s); reviewing data conditions and recommending steps to resolve issues working directly with Level 3s, Level 2s, and business users
- Anticipate potential issues and opportunities through regular contact with Business process Champion (L2s) and 1ERP Business Technology Partners (Level 3).
- Execute Timekeeping configuration tasks
- Execute Redwood chains as needed and master labor process chains
- Lead process improvement activities to deliver the highest quality of service to sector customers.
- Interface between systems analysts/programmers and 1ERP Business Technology Partners (Level 3) to ensure that information technology designs in SAP meet the needs of the end users within the Sector
- Guide work tickets through to completion
- Work with other SAP Team analysts on cross functional projects
- Work with 1ERP Business Technology Partners (Level 3) in updating and writing functional specification documents
- Help with testing of issue fixes/enhancements as needed
- Identify training opportunities for the team
- Provide input into staffing needs, hiring process, and role assignments
The Candidate can be hired as a Principal (3) or Sr. Principal Level (4) Apps Analyst, depending upon the candidate's education and experience:
Principal Level (3) Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors' degree; OR 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; OR 8 years of experience with an Associates degree; in lieu of a degree 10 years of experience can be accepted
- At least 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree; OR 8 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree OR 12 years of experience with an Associates degree; in lieu of a degree 14 years of experience can be accepted
- Basic knowledge of MS Office tools
- Ability to directly work with business process experts, Business process Champion (L2s) and 1ERP Business Technology Partners (L3s)
- Proficient in designing and developing user training documentation, test plan and test script development and execution.
- Proficient in SAP design and functional specification writing
- Subject matter expert in timekeeping and labor processing
- Experience with SAP Labor, Timekeeping, and/or Project Systems usage at Northrop Grumman and within a sector
- Experience using Redwood
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (including weekends) if necessary
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in IT, Accounting or Business
- Experience in Implementing S/4 HANA
- Full life cycle SAP project implementation
- Experience working virtually
Salary Range 2: $109,900 - $164,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
