This individual will provide system administration support to the program's Ionospheric Ground Sensors (IGS) production, test, and operational systems. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Position Summary / Responsibilities:

System installation, configuration, troubleshooting
Implementing and maintaining system security postures
Patch maintenance,
License management,
System backup administration,
User account/environment administration,
Reviewing audit logs,
Performance analysis, tuning, and upgrading
Assisting with hardware/software installations
Supporting the 24/7 on-call operations environment
Basic Qualifications:

Principal/Level 3: BS with 5 years of relevant experience, MS with 3 years of relevant experience, OR PhD with 1 year of relevant experience; 4 additional years of experience may be consider in lieu of degree.
Sr. Principal/Level 4: BS with 8 years of relevant experience; MS with 6 years of relevant experience; OR PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; 4 additional years of experience may be consider in lieu of degree.
Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application
Candidate should have, or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire, a CompTIA Security+ certification.
Minimum of 5 years RedHat Enterprise Linux 7/8 (RHEL7/8) administration experience.
Expert level server administrator experience.
Experience with domain architecture and administration
Possess an understanding of networking/zoning to include VLAN/VSAN setup, and experience with RHEL and SELINUX system security lockdowns to include SCAP STIG, and NESSUS ACAS mitigations.
Capable of completing assigned work with limited guidance / supervision
Must have strong organization skills to prioritize assigned work and meet deadlines
Must be able to adapt to changing priorities based on mission need
Must work well in a small team environment
Must be detail-oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Contributes to the completion of organization and program goals
U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:

Possess knowledge of Red Hat's Identity Management software.
Advanced understanding of Red Hat's Satellite/Foreman infrastructure
Expert with virtual machines, specifically Red Hat's KVM suite.
Understanding and ability to manage and develop Red Hat Linux Kickstart discs.
Advanced understanding of MFA; Expert understanding of security certificates for authentication.
Possess knowledge of BASH scripting; Python3 scripting experience highly preferred.
Possess knowledge of domain infrastructure including but not limited to RBAC roles, sudo rules, and more.
Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures
Experience with remotely managed/unattended systems
Experience with RMF cybersecurity standards

Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00Salary Range 2: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
