Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal or Sr Principal - Intelligence Analyst (SIGINT) based out of Beale AFB, CA.
What You'll get to Do:
The qualified applicant will become part of a business unit which supports Intelligence and Department of Defense customers in the areas of signal collection, processing and full spectrum system operations and services. The successful candidate will become part of a worldwide team of Engineering professionals that support a complex SIGINT system. This person will need to have the ability to work independently.
Roles and Responsibilities:
NGMS will deploy a single highly skilled and trained Signals Analyst to Beale AFB, CA. This position requires a current TS/SCI clearance to operate and interface with the SIGINT system.
The Signals Analyst will have the direct responsibility to perform the following:
Identification and analysis of signals using complex test instrumentation
Mine data logs and evaluate system performance
Develop new techniques and methods towards system optimization
Identify and resolve complex network issues between various nodes and the SIGINT system
Maintain detailed logs and records of performance issues, which include daily and weekly reports
Liaison with subject matter experts at the factory to aid in anomaly resolution
Train junior to senior member of the armed forces on the intricacies and operation of the SIGINT system
Prepare and conduct briefings to senior officers and management
This position may be filled as a Principal Intelligence Analyst (SIGINT) or Sr Principal Intelligence Analyst (SIGINT).
Basic Qualifications for Principal Intelligence Analyst (SIGINT) :
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 5+ years of relevant work experience; 4 years additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience with signal analysis.
In depth knowledge of RF signal modulation, propagation, and analysis.
Manipulation experience with SIGINT payload or complex signal and system analysis.

Must possess Security+ certification or at minimum must be able obtain within 1 year of start date.

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 8+ years of relevant work experience; 4 years additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience with signal analysis.
In depth knowledge of RF signal modulation, propagation, and analysis.
Manipulation experience with SIGINT payload or complex signal and system analysis.
Demonstrated training development and delivery on complex USAF systems.
Well versed in Unix / Linux OS and file editing tools.
Must possess Security+ certification or at minimum must be able obtain within 1 year of start date.
US Citizenship and current/active DoD TS/SCI Clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM related discipline
Proficiency with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers
5 years of complex system engineering experience with an emphasis in signal analysis
Ground Station communications experience, with pre/post mission analysis of a complex SIGINT system
Primary Level Salary Range: $95,800.00 - $143,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $119,200.00 - $178,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
