Develop timing characterization of gate libraries
Run characterization simulations and validate timing models
Create custom designs and gate testbenches
Perform both frontend and backend verification of designs
Architect EDA job flows and create specification documents of operation
This position can be filled at the Principal or Senior Principal level. Basic Qualifications for a Principal Engineer Digital:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science with 5 years of related experience, or 3 years with a master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
Must be familiar with Cadence Liberate and .LIB format
Must be familiar with TCL scripting and debugging.
Must be familiar with Python.
Must be familiar with Digital Logic Design and ASIC design flow and
Must be a US Citizen and must have or be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. *
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong background in static timing analysis and timing characterization principles
Experience with Cadence tools for schematic creation and circuit simulation (e.g. Spectre)
A master's degree or PhD in a related field is highly desirable.

Salary Range: $112,600.00 - $169,000.00Salary Range 2: $139,700.00 - $209,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
