This role will ensure the robustness of our Quality Management System (QMS), compliance with AS9100 standards, and company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional analytical, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills, capable of working with minimal direction to successfully collaborate across organizations and functions to meet common objectives.

Creates and maintains internal audit schedule to meet AS9100 requirements and company procedures.
Performs process audits throughout the program life cycle to ensure a robust Quality Management System by evaluating the execution of current policies, procedures, and compliance with government laws and regulations.
Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluations of programmatic work products per customer requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
Creates and maintains detailed records of quality assurance activities, including compliance audits, nonconformances, and corrective actions. Prepare reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Utilize technical knowledge in specifications/standards, drawing interpretation, measurement and analysis methods, process and product assessment to ensure hardware, software, and systems engineering work products meet customer requirements
Identifies and resolves quality-related issues. Conducts root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of defects or non-conformances and implements corrective actions.
Ensures that corrective actions are effective and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Continuously evaluates and improves quality processes and procedures. Works with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance efficiency.
Serves as a liaison between quality assurance and other departments, ensuring clear communication of quality standards, company procedures, and expectations. Provides guidance and support to teams to achieve quality objectives.
Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, and vendor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
Ensures performance of relevant procedures and that quality products conform to established customer requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
Experience in MS Office Applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Basic Qualifications Level 3:

Bachelor's degree in STEM-related field with 5 years of relevant experience or
Master's degree in STEM-related field with 3 years of relevant experience
Experience working with a Quality Management System and detailed knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 rev D
Experience auditing documented procedures and/or AS9100/ISO 9001
Experience in developing audit plans and writing nonconformance and audit reports
Experience in Root Cause Analysis and Correct Action Planning
Experience in an engineering environment
Experience in interpreting specifications/standards, drawings, measurement and analysis methods, process and product assessments, and corrective action methodology
Experience applying technical standards, scientific principles, theories, and concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using advanced MS Excel skills to extract, compile, and analyze data from multiple tools - Jay to wordsmith (creating pivot tables to analyze imported data, using macros)
Strong Facilitation skills, Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification to drive continuous improvement
Experience reviewing and capturing contractual requirements.
Experience interpreting government contract requirements; FARS and DFARS.
Experience with Institute for Printed Circuits (IPC) Standards and Publications (e.g., IPC 610, J-STD 001, etc.)
Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) standards.
Experience developing in Microsoft SharePoint
Experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment
MANQMA
Salary Range: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
