The Principal Quality Analyst/Quality Analyst will support the implementation of program quality plans and procedures under the direction of Program Quality Engineers and Quality Management.
Perform the following functions in support of sector Programs:

Reports and processes MRB defects, as required.
Performs FOD (Foreign Object Damage) and MTI (Manufacturing to Inspection) Audits
Supports/manages the corrective action process.
Perform physical inspections of product with common inspection devices (calipers/micrometers/height gauges/profilometer) in accordance with identified technical requirements.
Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, and customer representatives to ensure requirements are met.
Coordinate metric reporting and analysis in support of monthly and annual organizational objectives
Support/lead campus compliance activities specifically related to internal procedures and AS9100

Responsibilities may include the following:

Collect, analyze, and report data to assist the quality engineer and management in assessing measures of performance.
Support projects and processes that ensure continuous improvement of value to our customers and market segments.
Create organizational value by implementing innovative solutions and best practices involved in all processes of the product realization value stream.
Assist Quality Engineers with inspection definitions and supplier requirements.
Observe and identify improvement opportunities to Mission Assurance Engineering for discrepancy items and reporting.
Verify process control activities and report deficiencies as appropriate.
Initiate quality alerts for potential processes and product discrepancies that may affect performance.
Assist Mission Assurance Engineers with root cause analysis investigations and corrective action development.
Support Mission Assurance Engineers in conducting Corrective Action Review Board activities.
Investigate internal audit-related findings and help coordinate activities to resolve issues.
Ensure team tasking with quality management and support staff to develop solutions to help manage variability.
Support the administration of the Quality Management System Documentation and Record Control processes.
Prepare and present data in management-level presentations.
Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
Perform nonconformance and Corrective Action Processes
Basic Qualifications Quality Analyst:

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of quality work experience; or Master's and 0 years of quality work experience. Note: An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Experience with AS9100 Quality Systems
The ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
U.S. citizen
Basic Qualifications Principal Quality Analyst:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of quality work experience; or Master's and 3 years of quality work experience. Note: An additional 8 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Experience with AS9100 Quality Systems
The ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications:

Intermediate to Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience performing process and compliance audits.
Extensive experience with AS9100 Quality Systems
Extensive experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

MANQMA
Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $105,800.00Salary Range 2: $87,000.00 - $130,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
