Position Overview:
The Principal Quality Analyst will develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions:

Reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
* Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
* Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
* Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications.
* Work closely with Engineers, System Administrators, and Technicians within an operations and testing environment.
* Assures compliance in program quality in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Participates in program audit, metrics, and processes improvements.
* Communicate openly and effectively with teammates and customer representatives.
* Witness and inspect installations and testing activities
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels of the organization.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of related work experience, or a Master's Degree and 4 years of related work experience, or 10 years of related work experience in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
* Ability to work flexible or extended hours and travel offsite up to 25% as required to support business needs.
* Self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving skills who can work with minimal direction.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret Security clearance, and a minimum of an Interim Secret Clearance will be required to start.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a liaison to engineering and site management.
* GMD or related missile defense program experience.
* Proficiency writing and following detailed setup and test procedures.
* Demonstrated Quality experience.
* A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance with current or previous Special Program Access (PAR/SPA).
Salary Range: $88,700 - $133,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
