Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), Strategic Deterrent Systems Division has an opening for a Principal Proposal Publication Analyst or Senior Principal Proposal Publication Analyst to join our team of fast-paced, dynamic, diverse Division Capture Excellence team. Secret clearance level eligibility required to start. Preferred candidates will have background in technical editing, desktop publishing, or proposal operations. This position is located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL. Flexible work arrangement possible and will vary based on proposal assignments. The selected candidate must be willing and able to travel, as needed (up to 10%). Our mission is to apply proven proposal execution strategies, process, and leadership to teams across the division to ensure successful, compliant, compelling, and on time proposal submissions. The proposals we work on may include top Priority Wins, competitive pursuits, and sole source efforts. Candidates for this position will demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced across leadership, collaboration, innovation, communication, project management, risk management, and proposal-based capabilities.

What You'll Get To Do:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support development of efficient and effective proposal execution plans in response to solicitations from U.S. Government and other customers
Participate in collaborative and engaged teams to develop, review, and submit proposals that effectively represent the proposal strategy and baseline
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that proposals are on schedule and meet Customer requirements
Assist cost, schedule, and technical teams in the development of proposals in accordance with proposal specifications
Participate in bid and proposal activities
Develop templates and tools that comply with individual proposal requests
Work with the graphic designer to prepare proposal content design and layout
Edit proposal content for proper grammar, logic, readability, and compliance to proposal requirements
Support writing activities through language revision, which may include interviews with SMEs
Prepare, edit, and arrange completed proposal products for print or electronic publications
Perform visual quality inspection of proposal deliverables
Use established precedents and policies to develop solutions to complex problems
Interact with senior internal and external personnel on matters requiring coordination between organizations
Develop and deliver presentations
Support Digital Transformation Office projects that support capture and proposal management.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for Principal Proposal Publication Analyst:
5 years of experience with Bachelors; 3 Year experience with Masters; or 1 year of experience with PhD
2 years of experience in Technical Writing or Desktop Publishing
Ability to work often unpredictable schedules, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Experience communicating with Executive Leadership
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Proposal Publication Analyst:
8 years of experience with Bachelors; 6 Year experience with Masters; or 4 years of experience with PhD
5 years of experience in Technical Writing or Desktop Publishing
Ability to work often unpredictable schedules, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Experience communicating with Executive Leadership
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Mastery of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and graphic editing software
5+ years of experience in a defense/aerospace environment
Experience with the U.S. Government's competitive acquisition process
Ability to display excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience supporting large captures / proposals
Experience supporting competitive and sole source proposals with values greater than $250M
Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards; Full knowledge of industry practices; Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks

Primary Level Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $162,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
