We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Project Manager/Senior Principal Project Manager based out of Linthicum, Maryland.
What You'll get to Do:
Support our physical security team as an individual contributor, managing physical security projects across the sector using Lenel OnGuard, performing security assessments, and independently identifying countermeasures to mitigate risks. Projects will include buildouts for new programs and/or entirely new sites/buildings. Including:

Complete project documents including design drawings and statements of work for access control, intrusion detection and video systems.

Oversee and manage the operational aspects of physical security projects and serve as liaison between stakeholders and selected suppliers.

Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.

Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, intervention and problem solving with other stakeholders and selected suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with others; the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines; and attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning and presentation skills are also required.
This requisition may be filled as a Principal Project Manager or a Senior Principal Project Manager.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Project Manager:

The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance is required. No clearance is required to start.

US Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in security; or a Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in security. Will consider a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in security in lieu of degree requirement.

Experience managing and programming physical security projects to include construction specifications, access control, intrusion detection and video systems using Lenel OnGuard or another access control system

Experience with ICD 705, NISPOM and applicable UL standards

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Experience interfacing with all levels of employees and leadership

Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Project Manager:

The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance is required. No clearance is required to start.

US Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in security; or a Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in security. Will consider a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in security in lieu of degree requirement.

Experience managing and programming physical security projects to include construction specifications, access control, intrusion detection and video systems using Lenel OnGuard or another access control system

Experience with ICD 705, NISPOM and applicable UL standards

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Experience interfacing with all levels of employees and leadership

Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Top Secret clearance

Experience managing and programming physical security projects involving Lenel OnGuard

Experience with Digital Monitoring Products, MAS, Milestone, Razberi systems

Physical Security Professional (PSP) certificate

Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate

SharePoint experience

Salary Range: $87,000.00 - $130,600.00Salary Range 2: $108,400.00 - $162,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
