This position will be located in EAFB, CA with no virtual or telecommute working options. This is an individual contributor role that can be filled at either level.

This role will be supporting a Friday - Sunday shift.
The candidate should have knowledge of EVMS and Program Management processes and procedures. They should have knowledge of industry practices and standards and demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks independently. This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities and have experience briefing Leadership. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate with technical leadership in a cross functional team to meet program cost, schedule, and technical objectives.

Develop and deliver presentations to management, and other program stakeholders.

Overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects.

Track budget actuals against predictions and financial performance against the full EV performance management baseline.

Participate in CAM status calls, prepare status for/attend weekly status meeting, support stakeholder meetings, review Actual Hours reports for time charging accuracy.

Coordinate Earned Value Change Requests (EVCRs) with the business management and Scheduling team as needed.

Perform advanced project management tasks from inception to close-out and continue to manage the system for operational efficiency.

Support the development of packages for Proposal and Change Requests for cost and schedule.

Adhere to all internal processes for Program Management.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Manager:

5 years of Project Management experience with bachelor's degree OR 3 years of Project Management experience master's degree OR 1 year of Project Management experience with Ph.D.

Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and/or Power Point.

Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Project Manager:

8 years of Project Management experience with bachelor's degree OR 6 years of Project Management experience with master's degree OR 4 years of Project Management experience with Ph.D.

Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and/or Power Point.

Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

EVMS / Cost and Schedule experience

Experience managing technical projects preferably aerospace related

Experience managing facilities and infrastructure projects

Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00Salary Range 2: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
