Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Project Manager to join a team of qualified and diverse individuals onsite in Huntsville, AL supporting the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division as a member of the Employee Experience Team.
In this position, the selected candidate will have responsibility for onboarding talent and employee experience opportunities. As this work spans across a diverse set of stakeholders, this individual will be expected to collaborate effectively and partner across organizations -- Human Resources, Communications, Site Operations, - communicate, and support change management associated with such programs for the Division.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Facilitation of Division onboarding:
Improvement of Division orientation and programmatic offerings from Pre-hire through year 1 of work with Strategic Deterrent Systems
Document SDS Division level processes, procedures and guidance documents aligned to the Space Systems sector
Help develop and shape additional programs/processes to improve the overall Employee Experience
A successful candidate will possess these qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in:
Collaborating across organizations to bring forward a consolidated objective
Executing through a program or project start-up and effectively rolling out and managing change
Acting with a sense of urgency and accountability; taking ownership of tasks and strategic direction

These positions will have a standard work schedule of 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of related work, 3 Years with Masters and some experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule. Additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Experience developing content, packaging, and briefing communications
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Up to 25% travel
Preferred Qualifications:

Active in-scope DoD Secret clearance or higher
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Some experience with Agile processes
The ability to execute communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs.
Primary Level Salary Range: $87,000.00 - $130,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
