The Contract Administrator will be supporting the Global Surveillance Division's Autonomous Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (AISR&T) Business Unit.

This position requires frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. Familiarity with the FAR, DFARS, or any other United States Government federal contracting procedures is recommended for the successful applicant.
The successful candidate will be capable of performing the following tasks:
Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
This position may be filled as a Principal Contract Administrator (Level 3) or Senior Principal Contract Administrator (Level 4), depending upon experience and relevant merit.

They will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks, as well as ever-shifting changes in dynamics with different customers. They will possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively collaborate with internal functional and program organizations, effectively deal with external customers, and meet the goals/objectives of the AISR&T Business Unit.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Contract Administrator Level 3:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience in Contract administration, Supply Chain, Business Management, and/or similar industry-related areas.

Prior Federal Acquisition, Industry, or Military Experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable timeframe to support business operations.
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Contract Administrator Level 4:

Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience or a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience in Contract administration, Supply Chain, Business Management, and/or similar industry-related areas.

Contract Administration or Supply Chain Experience
Contract Management and Negotiation Experience
Contract Closeout Experience
Financial Accounting or Financial Forecasting Experience
Experience working within an IPT structure
Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
Prior Federal Acquisition, Industry, or Military Experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable timeframe to support business operations.
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in business (MBA), Finance, Legal (JD), PhD, or similar advanced degree
* Active DoD Secret security clearance
Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00Salary Range 2: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
