Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.As a key member of the Global Mobility team, the Global Mobility Analyst will be responsible for administering international assignments to our employees traveling internationally and/or domestically. The successful candidate will work closely with international business travelers and assignees to ensure a positive experience while enforcing strict compliance with immigration, employment, and tax regulations.
This position will be virtual remote and can be performed anywhere within the continental United States.
The Global Mobility analysts will:

Manage the international assignment process and provide support to assignees and their families throughout the assignment lifecycle. Advise on all aspects of the assignment to include but not limited to international assignment agreements (IAAs), immigration, visas, issue resolutions, host country labor law compliance, and compensation.

Interpret policy and provide guidance to HR colleagues, management and employees regarding international travel and assignment.

Oversee vendor processes to ensure immigration cases align with business expectations and employees are communicated to clearly and timely.

Analyze mobility data to identify potential risks and partner with stakeholders for issue resolution.

Develop strong working relationships with program leadership, HR, Payroll, legal and other functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements and facilitate a positive assignee experience.

Success in the role requires the ability to build partnerships across a diverse set of stakeholders. Adaptability, sound judgment, independent thinking, follow-through and initiative are essential. The analyst must be comfortable independently researching and providing guidance in complex and unstructured assignment scenarios with limit assistance from management. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed for presentation development and delivery and daily interactions with managers and employees. Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel functionality for this activity a plus. Individual must foster and maintain positive relationships and collaborate with GMO team members to ensure service delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Masters Degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR Associates Degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 9 years of relevant experience

Solid technical understanding of global mobility including International Assignments, Immigration, or Relocation

Excellent communication skills - specifically, the ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate complicated immigration concepts to others who may not have a background in immigration

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior Global Mobility (GMO) experience and exposure to working overseas

Experience with the federal acquisition regulation (FAR)

Experience with non-traditional immigration pathways such as SOFA and the Foreign Clearance Guide

Previous work experience in corporate environment or immigration law firm

Experience facilitating a positive onboarding experience of expatriates deploying overseas

Experience conducting pre-departure orientation and repatriation meetings from an HR perspective

Basic understanding and exposure to Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and other contractual regulations

Primary Level Salary Range: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
