Roles and responsibilities will include:
Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.
Gain deep understanding of cyber documentation, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.
Research, outline, write, and edit content, while working closely with various departments and customers.
Research, create, and maintain cyber documentation that adhere to company and government standards.
Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Information Systems Security experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of Information Systems Security experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 9 years of Information Systems Security experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
• Current DoD Secret level security clearance with an original adjudication, or a periodic reinvestigation date, completed within the last 6 years; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
• The ability to obtain a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) clearance within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company, and also by customer and/or program requirements; maintaining a SAP clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II security certification (Security + or higher)
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of Cybersecurity practices, network technologies, and system development life-cycles, in addition to an understanding of information technology infrastructure management/monitoring and applications.
• Experience developing and submitting JSIG required Body of Evidence for Authority to Operate consideration.
• Experience developing guidelines, monitoring policies, and enforcing standards for cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices supporting National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Preferred Qualifications*
• Experience with a team working on complex efforts with a mindset on Cybersecurity compliance
• Strong command of written communications and the ability to review and provide feedback on technical documents, including policy, procedure, and artifacts required for Authority to Operate
• Self motivated individual who can work independently and set priorities with minimal guidance to support a team of 45 Cybersecurity professionals at multiple locations.
• Experience working on teams performing inspection readiness/audit activities.
• Working knowledge and understanding of auditing, vulnerability scanning/remediation, SIEMs, DISA STIGs, configuration/change control, and implementation of Risk Management Framework.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to produce coherent and concise documentation required for evaluation.
• Experience developing Cybersecurity policies, processes and tools for Cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices supporting National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53
Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
