Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is an essential part of the Missile Defense System. It provides a vital operational platform that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively manage networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives.
C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability, delivering an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to improve overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC is a critical component of all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities.
Essential Functions:

Facilitate and lead Iteration Planning sessions closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment and effective prioritization of project goals and objectives
Integrate STIG configurations and verify system baselines
Lead security audit remediation efforts
Facilitate the Agile Scrum framework by working closely with the Product Owner, coaching the Cyber Patching agile team and other stakeholders, and removing impediments to ensure the team can meet its goals
Collaborating with Cyber Engineering:
Cyber stakeholders to integrate and test cybersecurity solutions on the C2BMC system at HWY-83
Developing and testing patches to mitigate vulnerabilities in Software, Hardware, and Firmware
Managing vulnerabilities through analysis and remediation of IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), CVEs, Vendor Patches, and STIG configurations

Documenting and verifying all installation and setup procedures for laboratory environments
Working with software developers and vendors to troubleshoot and fix integration problems
Providing redlines and feedback to engineers and Cyber Leadership
Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards as part of daily tasks
Will work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Basic Qualifications:
Please include your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 1 year of experience; or 9 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
Applicants must have a current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) is required to start
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs
Must have related cyber professional experience
Administrative experience with Windows and/or Linux systems
Experience and knowledge of Patch Management systems
Experience and knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Knowledge of STIGs, NIST standards, and security controls
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or an equivalent certification
Understanding software development life cycles and testing processes
Preferred Qualifications:

An understanding of DoD best practices for confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA*) of systems is highly desirable

Primary Level Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
