The selected candidate will report to the Manager of Accounting and support billing activities. This position is located on site in El Segundo, CA with partial telework available.
Essential Functions:
Lead a team of approximately three billers to ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices

Provide troubleshooting support and guidance

Review and approve billings including final invoice packages

Miscellaneous accounts receivable reporting and resolution of payment issues

Perform analysis of unbilled balances

Support monthly cash collection and forecasting goals

Interface with internal and external customers

Support DCAA incurred costs and billing audits

Complete special project as needed

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of Accounting experience OR a Master's Degree with 3 years of stated experience

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Ability to work on site in El Segundo, CA

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Government contracting experience

Experience leading a small team

Familiarity with GAAP, FAR, CAS, IFRS

* Exposure to financial reporting systems, particularly SAP

Primary Level Salary Range: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
