Role & Responsibilities:
Complete complex International Payroll Processing for multiple countries under tight deadlines
Post monthly GL reporting
Support International HR with complex payroll inquiries or processing
Work closely with 3rd party Payroll POCs to resolve employee issues
Respond to inquiries from employees within SLA
Ad hoc query request
Perform quality audits
Manage and create audit reports
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma & 6 years of related education, i.e.: business or accounting and/or relevant work experience
- Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite (excel, word, and PowerPoint)
- 3-8 years of payroll/Tax/Garnishment processing experience including relevant regulatory requirements; internal policy and procedure; accounting practices; system software requirements
- Must be able to critically apply knowledge of FLSA, federal and state laws, etc.
- Experience working with multi-state locations
- Must posses a strong characteristic for attention to detail and accuracy
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;
- Problem-solving; organizing and prioritizing work demands in order to meet critical deadlines
- Operating a personal computer including standard software and some specialized accounting software
- Five years or more of experience involving relevant extensive payroll duties
- Well developed organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with little direction in day-to-day functional responsibilities of the position
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) [1 year completion requirement]
- Certified Payroll Professional Certification (CPP) [18 months after obtaining FPC requirement]
Preferred Qualifications -
SAP/Workday/ADP experience
Prior experience working in a shared service or center of excellence environment
Primary Level Salary Range: $56,600.00 - $94,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
