Our Cables Manufacturing Engineers:

Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

Design sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.

May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.

Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

In this job, you will:

Creating cable MES build plans using templates and desktop procedures

Creating in-process change records on cable builds

Troubleshoot and work Cause/ Corrective Actions

Create design change cable build plans

Up rev MES plans when new cable drawing releases

Work process improvements

Due to the sensitive nature of our work this is a fully on-site position; hybrid or remote work is not available. Relocation is not offered.
Your Expertise - Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 2 Years of related experience

Familiarity with Root Cause and Corrective Action

Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with MES

Experience with cables

Familiarity with Teamcenter or Solumina

Adept at managing competing priorities

Attention to detail

We work a 9/80 schedule (9 hours per day Mon-Thurs, 8 hours every other Friday with the alternate Friday off)

Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
