Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a dedicated Manager Supply Chain 1 (SCM) to join our team serving the Supplier Quality Organization in Baltimore, MD. The SCM is responsible for executing and managing supplier management plans across multiple Program areas and Business Units. The SCM drives and statuses all key performance indicators that are levied on the suppliers and is required to ensure performance and support of the plan deliverables. They will act as the main liaison amongst the Program Management Office (PMO) and Supplier Quality Organization. The SCM will coordinate cross-functionally between external and internal stakeholders to ensure Supplier commitments are met and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address programmatic risks related to the suppliers. They will also brief various levels of management on the status and issues affecting performance. The SCM coordinates across teams to establish milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and quality specifications. The SCM will be the Supplier Management Team (SMT) lead in the planning and execution of critical and/or strategic supplier management plans. This is an on-site role in Baltimore, MD and could require up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Leads the Supplier Management Team composed of engineers, quality and supply chain personnel
- Coordinates/leads all supplier product readiness reviews, including the necessary levels of NGMS participation
- Ensures supplier compliance related to quality elements and/or drawing requirements of the contract
- Ensures recovery plans are put in place for any / all erosion to schedule milestones
- Leads proposal inputs for internal and external customers to estimate cost of work scope
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of in supply chain/business management/ contracts/ program management, operations and/or closely related experience; OR a Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience f in supply chain/business management/ contracts/ program management, operations
- 1+ years of experience as a team lead and/or direct manager of people
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
-U.S. Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance to be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specifications, drawings & supplier statements of work (SOWs)
- Experience with presenting to Executive Leadership and Customers
- Master's Degree in a Business or Technical field
Primary Level Salary Range: $102,400.00 - $153,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
