What you'll get to do:

Perform source selection, price analysis, negotiations, and risk management.
Communicate written and verbally and be extremely organized.
Communicate with personnel about risk and opportunity.
Have a clear understanding of established processes and procedures.
Align team goals to Sector and Division objectives.
Manage a supply base: Evaluate supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance
Develop and maintain Strategic Supplier relationships.
Supervise release of RFQs for LTA (long term agreement) and high-dollar reqs
Execute negotiations of LTA's (long term agreement) and high-dollar contracts.
Identify opportunity for cross Divisional strategies
Coordinate and manage a diverse group of people and skills as well as influence others outside of his/her specific area of responsibility
Plan, schedule, and arrange activities to accomplish objectives.
Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.
Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
Supplier Onboarding, ad-hoc reporting and overall GSC performance metrics.
As part of the Global Supply Chain function our team enjoys a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaboration across all levels.
This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Position will be on-site at our Salt Lake City campus.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to work under limited supervision with no instructions needed on routine work and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments, communicate with multiple levels internally to the organization and externally to vendors, maintain an organized workload and preserve attention to detail, and have an excellent business acumen.
Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of supply chain/business management/contracts/program management or Operations experience; Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
1 or more years of leadership or people management experience promoting a sense of engagement, teamwork, and cooperation.
Experience with procurement, subcontract, and purchasing workflows.
Experience applying analytical approaches for problem solving.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Preferred Requirements:

Master's Degree with a minimum of 3+ years of experience working in supply chain management including purchasing and procurement
Management experience of 2+ years overseeing a team of 5 or more employees
Aerospace and defense experience
Experience with technical, manufacturing, or supply chain requirements for platforms or systems being delivered to US Government and International customers
Experience working with SAP, EVMS, and Tableau system.
* Experience working in a supply chain manufacturing environment.
Salary Range: $101,900.00 - $152,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
