This role is located in Baltimore, MD.

Due to the nature of the role, an on-site presence is required and cannot be performed remotely.
The position will follow our 9/80 schedule which allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
The successful candidate is expected to be a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the Space AI&T facilities located on our BWI plant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of Space Hardware Assembly and the environment in which needs to Operate. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget-while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional team including security, engineering, and manufacturing teams
Facilitate communication and coordination among program participants
Create and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project
Track progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
Conduct regular site review to verify requirements are being met as designed and expected
Provide regular updates to senior management, and other stakeholders
Manage the use of consumables to achieve budget targets
Work independently across organizations to deliver products on schedule
Perform required SAP/MES transactions to manage Operator and/or M&P Specialist
Implement our process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule
Providing directions to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies
Managing the area to produce quality products

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of professional experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment; Master's Degree with 6 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment; 12 years of work experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
Experience managing/leading multiple teams with multiple priorities/deadlines
Active Secret Clearance required at time of application.
U.S. citizenship required
Experience overseeing and guiding projects from inception to completion
Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration and achieving organizational objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Project and/or Personnel management experience
Experience working in a represented (union) environment
Experience with SAP/MES
Experience with Lean Manufacturing
Experience with Environmental Safety procedures/policies

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and concise interaction with diverse audiences
Adept at multitasking and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient task completion and adherence to deadlines
Highly detail-oriented with an unwavering commitment to quality and safety standards
Primary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
