Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for a Program Manager 3 to support the Capabilities Maturation and Deployment (CMAD) organization, operating within the Emerging Capabilities Development (ECD) onsite in Linthicum, MD. The department has responsibility for the design, qualification and manufacturing of hardware building blocks in the RF and EOIR domains. Focus area for this position is in enabling hardware for broadband, multifunction RF front ends, such high-speed data converters, signal conditioning devices, and low SWaP modules and transceivers.

What You'll Get to Do:
The selected candidate will serve in a Program Manager role on one or more CMAD product lines directly supporting stakeholder programs across Mission Systems and Space sectors. The selected candidate will be responsible for numerous aspects of the program including cost, schedule, and technical performance of the product lines, and interfacing as the lead with internal and external customers, vendors, and company support organizations. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and collaborative people skills, and proven ability to work within a dynamic, high-growth, and fast-paced operating unit.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years or a Master's with 6+ years of experience supporting Government proposals, contracts and/or project management.
Experience executing and managing programs with complex technical requirements, work products, and deliverables.
Experience planning and leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as the project or technical lead.
Knowledge of earned value and risk management.
Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplined, matrixed teams to complete program milestones and deliverables.
Demonstrated experience recognizing and responding to executive and customer goals to rapidly develop outcomes supporting sector objectives.
Able to be on-site as needed (local required).
US Citizenship.
Active/Current Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in STEM.
10+ years' experience including as a senior technical lead or engineering manager positions.
Background in mixed signal, embedded microelectronics technologies and products and how they are used in next-higher system implementations.
Experience executing full-product development lifecycle from solution concept through requirements verification and sell-off.
Experience managing many, interrelated efforts and customer requirements concurrently.
Experience with product line processes and/or non-traditional program execution.
Experience in a leadership position on government programs over $10M and IR&D efforts over $1M.
2+ years' experience managing development for radar, EO/IR, SIGINT, cyber or communications systems.
Experience with geographically diverse program teams.
Salary Range: $178,500.00 - $267,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
