The primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on schedule and on cost , while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions. The individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals.
Job Responsibilities:
The Deputy Production Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Production Operations Manager leading a multidisciplined team for requirements, development, production, and testing of the Strategic C3 Systems Business Unit. The Strategic C3 Systems Deputy Production Operations Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Leading and directing cross-functional Strategic C3 Systems Operations Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to meet program schedule, cost and technical performance objectives.
Deliver Customer Satisfaction for their product.
Deliver quality products.
Manage the risk, issues, and opportunities of their team.
Timely identification and management of all resources required to include NG Labor, suppliers, and IWOs.
Develop Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasking and targets to deliver performance for their area of Profit & Loss (P&L).
Provide accuracy and transparency throughout financial reporting process
Identify the functional skills required to complete each process within the multi-disciplined team's statement of work.
Establish the baseline and performance for their team's schedule & cost scope in alignment with the overall program staffing and budget.
Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization.
Delivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders.
Participating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions.
Measuring and reporting program performance.
Preparing Business case analysis to evaluate various courses of action as it relates to cost or schedule mitigation plans.
Managing Government/customer supplied property or information.
Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of related experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers, aerospace manufacturing, Program management, project management, and/or military service OR Master's and 4 years of related experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers, aerospace manufacturing, Program management, project management, and/or military service.
2 years of demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal within quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
Earn Value Management Systems (EVMS) Knowledge.
MS Office Suite Experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Security Clearance and SAP access within a reasonable amount of time as required by the business.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working within a manufacturing environment and managing the product build.
Prior experience with A/C in Flight Test, monitoring A/C through troubleshooting efforts and coordination until resolution to delivery.
Experience communicating verbally, written, and visually with contract stakeholders and multiple levels of leadership.
Experience in Project or Program Management skills & toolsets.
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Usage and SAP Knowledge.
Certified CAM.
C-130 Experience.
PMP certification
Prior EVMS Certification or demonstrated capability.
A degree in a science, engineering, or a business program.
Active Secret DOD clearance or higher last investigated within the last 5 years.

Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $202,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
