The Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL) site in Rocket Center designs, develops, and manufactures tactical rocket motors, medium caliber ammunition, composite components and end items, and fuze and electronics equipment. For decades, the dedicated and highly skilled team at ABL has supported national security efforts by developing and building defense systems for DoD customers and U.S. allies.

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma with 12 years of demonstrated experience as a lead or a supervisor in a manufacturing setting OR Associates/Bachelors college degree in a technical or management field with 8 years of experience.
Availability and willingness to work any shift including some weekends as required.
Ability to provide sound judgment to ensure overall quality and efficiency of the department.
Experience using Microsoft Word and MS Office
Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic equipment

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with factory maintenance, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, utility systems
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
Prior experience working in a union environment
Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques
Experience leading a team of highly trained maintenance staff
Ability to plan, schedule and follow up on assigned work progress
Ability to cover weekend on call and respond as required for unplanned events
Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Maximo, L2L Dispatch, SAP etc.
Working knowledge of one or more of the following, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, compressors, tempered water systems, steam production, wastewater systems, high voltage systems etc.
Current WV Class II Drinking Water License
Current WV Class "S" Wastewater Treatment certification
Industrial Maintenance, Supervision or Journeyman certification is a plus
Primary Level Salary Range: $101,500.00 - $152,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
