This position can be based in any of our core sites (San Diego, CA, El Segundo, CA, Palmdale, CA, Clearfield, UT, St. Augustine, FL, or Melbourne, FL).
Job Summary: This is a hands-on leadership role for Mission Assurance training and development for the organization. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading or providing key contributions to talent development and program success and will have a track record of strong collaboration and leadership. They will be responsible for conducting surveys, interviews, and job analyses to identify the training and technical development needs of employees. Along with analyzing organizational goals and the skills required to achieve them.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Training and development of employees within the Mission Assurance organization
Designing and developing training and development programs and materials that address the identified needs.
Creating both in-person and online training sessions, workshops, seminars, and e-learning modules.
Developing evaluation tools such as surveys, tests, and feedback forms to assess the effectiveness of training programs
Analyzing feedback and performance data to measure the impact of training on employee performance and organizational goals
May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 9 years of related professional/military experience; OR Master's degree and 7 years of related professional/military experience
7 or more years of Leadership/ Supervisory or Lead experience
Demonstrated experience developing and deploying training or technical development programs in a corporate, military, or defense setting
Experience developing, implementing, or managing training management systems
Executive level presentation experience and proven proficiency
Must have ability to work flexible schedule 1st or 2nd shift to include weekend shifts when new training is released
Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Special Program Access
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong orientation to change in a dynamic environment
Degree in a STEM or Logistics background
Experience establishing a baseline project or program from the start

Mission Assurance experience
Proficiency with learning management systems, instructional design tools, and content authoring platforms
* Lesson plan development experience and support material development (PPT, Handouts, Student Guides, etc.)
Salary Range for CA sites; $170,000 -$255,000
Salary Range for UT/FL sites ; $146,800-$220,200
Primary Level Salary Range: $146,800.00 - $255,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
