Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.The Program Mission Assurance Manager 2 collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and program functions to ensure quality standards are in place and program quality is controlled. The Program Mission Assurance Manager 2 oversees a team of quality engineers supporting across deliverable products and contracts to facilitate on time, compliant deliveries. As a manager, they ensure quality assurance tests are in place; and aids the team in performing statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. They collaborate with Supply Chain and Supplier Mission Assurance to ensure timely disposition of supplier issues. In addition, they serve as the program interface to the customer quality organization. Ensure that Root Cause Corrective Action activities are performed when required and that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements. Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies. Supervisory or management responsibilities for more than one functional area in the Mission and Quality Assurance job family. Program Mission Assurance Manager 2 will be supporting the Combat Sensors Business Unit.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of quality, engineering or manufacturing work experience, Master's and 6+ years of quality or manufacturing work experience
Minimum of 3+ years of people leadership experience (direct or in a team lead capacity) in a quality, engineering or manufacturing team environment.
Experience working with Government agencies.
Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System certification process.
Active DoD Secret security clearance to start and to be considered (US Citizenship required). A Secret Clearance is required for this role and candidate must be capable of getting and maintaining a Secret SAP Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced in performing or leading FAIs and Program Corrective Action Boards (PCAB)
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
Experienced background in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or 8D activities
CAM experience (Cost Account Manager)
Secret SAP Clearance
Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
