This position will be located in Clearfield, Utah.
Position Summary / Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for a section of operations execution in the Aeronautics Composite Center Elevated (ACCE) building. The primary purpose of this position is to lead the manufacturing organization for a program(s). The candidate will be measured on both financial and non-financial indicators directly related to safety, quality, on-time delivery, employee engagement, and cost profitability. The Candidate's other primary roles include both creation of strategic vision (long-term) and tactical management (short-term) for the assigned programs within ACCE.

Has overall responsibility for execution of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Employee, and Cost objectives, along with Employee Engagement for a large organizational unit within the ACCE site
Strong focus on safe work environment, Zero Defects, and continuous improvement activities
Optimizes product flow, production rates, and product mix to meet customer demands, improve inventory turns and drive month-over-month cost improvement
Responsible for proactive resource management to mitigate production schedule risks
Support a work environment characterized by employee involvement and participative management to encourage the highest level of employee commitment and cooperation
Manage site staffing levels to support customer requirements while maintaining efficient operations

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma with 10 years manufacturing experience and 5 years of management experience.
Experience managing multiple programs
Experience in labor and capacity forecasting
Experience manufacturing Composites structures
Knowledge of composites manufacturing processes
Experience with mid to high-rate production programs
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in management, engineering or other related disciplines
Experience in implementing continuous improvement.
Demonstrated use of production control tools (e.g., schedule, MRP, manpower forecasts

Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to work with others at all levels of the organization
Conflict management skills and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organizational skills
