Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Manager, Contracts Administration 2 to join our growing team in Linthicum, MD. This position will be responsible for the direct supervision and management of a diverse team of professionals within the Restricted Emerging Operating Unit (OU) under the Advanced Mission Capabilities (AMC) BU. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the contract's portfolio delivering strong customer satisfaction, successful financial performance, risk mitigation, change management, and new business strategy within the Emerging portfolio, including MUX TACAIR . The successful candidate will report to the OU Contracts Manager and work closely with the Program management team including internal stakeholders such as Global Supply Chain, Business Management, and the Law Department.

This position is full-time onsite in Linthicum, MD. Candidates must have at least an active Secret clearance to start.
What You Will Get To Do:
Responsibilities of the Manager, Contracts Administration 2 will include, but are not limited to:

Review and approve contractual documents for protection of the company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements, and adherence to company policies. Therefore, keen attention to detail is essential.

Planning and executing successful contract negotiations of a complex nature and achieving targeted profit rates as well as favorable terms and conditions to assist in meeting profit and cash goals.

Regular and proactive interface and effective collaboration with program, technical, and operations organizations to provide guidance and direction based upon the requirements of the resulting contracts.

Ability to make decisions in a timely manner, offer guidance, and work cooperatively with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, supply chain, legal, export, and security.

Ability to solve complex problems by actively seeking information and new ideas from a variety of sources.

Demonstrate commitment and energy to meet customer needs with the ability to provide concise and effective communication through presentation, written documentation, or email format with different levels of Management.

Administer, extend, negotiate, and execute standard and nonstandard contracts.

Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in contract administration/management.

Experience negotiating and administering fixed price and cost reimbursable contract types of varying sizes with the US Government.

Thorough understanding of the requirements of applicable government regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

Experience with proposal development and negotiation skills.

Experience with non-traditional contracting methods, such as Other Transaction Authority (OTAs)/Non-traditional.

Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills to resolve complex problems and minimize risk to the company.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to use them in informing, presenting, and negotiating to all levels of management.

Current active DoD Secret clearance, with most recent periodic investigation having been completed in the last five years.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SAP clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working classified development and manufacturing programs

MBA or JD is a plus but not a requirement

Knowledge of and ability to use SAP

Proven leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to mentor and train assigned staff

Demonstrated 1+ year(s) of leadership or supervisory experience

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top-Secret clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
