Northrop Grumman, Strategic Space Systems Division, has an opening for a Logistics Support 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at the Redondo Beach Campus.
Responsibilities:

Support Area Management teams in very dynamic high bays/labs throughout Operations.

Responsible for supporting an Area Manager(s) with day-to-day operations on the floor for minimum level of compliance.

Maintain inventory and supply of shelf-life material, required consumables, supplies, etc.

Restocks Garments and prepare for garment pick up

Cleans near Flight Hardware where our vendor cleaning staff cannot enter

Requires some janitorial duties within our clean rooms

Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities

Ability to assist with routine audits, safety protocol, cleanliness standards, maintenance of established environmental controls/logs

Assist with hazardous material (HazMat) waste and property disposal

Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing constraints

Support inventory of chemicals, materials, equipment, etc.

Skills for Success:

Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks

Strong presentation and speaking skills, including ability to facilitate meetings and task execution

Ability to communicate clearly and successfully

Strong interpersonal communication skills, including ability to interface and communicate with a wide cross section of highly motivated individuals from technical to non-technical including all skillsets and disciplines

Organization and planning

High level of attention to details

Be a self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment and can quickly shift from to another task another

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications (Level 3):

High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) plus 4 years of experience in operations management, lab or area management, project management, or equivalent logistics fields.

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret Clearance or SCI Access.

Basic Qualifications (Level 4):

High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) plus 8 years of experience in operations management, lab or area management, project management, or equivalent logistics fields.

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret Clearance or SCI Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active DoD Top Secret Clearance OR SCI Access

* Experience within Aerospace and Defense or Manufacturing industry

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $83,300.00Salary Range 2: $59,300.00 - $98,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
