Our multidisciplinary foundry team enables activities spanning from development to sustainment process engineering. ATL is responsible for all aspects of semiconductor technology including design, mask making, wafer fabrication, test, and assembly.
What you'll get to do:
Primarily manage union represented Semiconductor Equipment Technicians across multiple shifts and will be responsible for directing, planning, and managing the work of those technicians.
Establish appropriate factory metrics goals, and coordinate with other managers, including Equipment Engineering and Operations on utilizing resources and setting priorities on Preventive Maintenance, tactical tool recoveries, down equipment troubleshooting.
Develop and support strategic tool availability efforts with groups like Process Engineering, Process Integration and special projects teams.
Support shift staffing, employee tasking, budget oversight, and program/maintenance interface activities.
Hire, on-board, conduct personnel performance assessments, time charging approval, and employee development.
This position offers an attractive 9/80 work schedule (contingent upon business needs); you'll enjoy working nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday, giving you the rewarding benefit of every other Friday off! This arrangement facilitates extended weekends for a better work-life balance.

Basic Qualifications:
Associate's Degree with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience; Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience; Master's Degree with 3 years of experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with semiconductor process engineering and device fabrication.
Experience in high volume manufacturing.
Must have some leadership or management experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be willing to work 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:00-11:00pm)
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or a related technical area and 7 years of relevant experience
5 years experience with semiconductor equipment maintenance
Experience interfacing with multiple vendors spanning many disciplines including manufacturing vendors and trades
Working knowledge of industry and management methodologies focused on continuous improvement in manufacturing, such as SPC, 5S, Total Quality Management or Six Sigma
Experienced in ISO 9001 or AS9100 Audits and Requirements Knowledgeable of Industrial Hazardous Waste Management procedures
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $112,600.00 - $169,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
