Responsibilities:

Performs the function of Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist/SharePoint Administrator for the JBLM MTC

Develops and implements knowledge management initiatives with oversight from the Program Manager and MTC Government

Provides administrative oversight of the current MTC SharePoint web portal and will routinely have access to and regularly work with Government sensitive data

May be asked to represent the Government at meetings and conferences

Manages content on the MTC Share Point portal, as well as interface with MTC Government Knowledge Management Leads

Designs, tests, and implements organizational knowledge management initiatives with direction/guidance from Program Manager and MTC Government Leadership

Develops and uses modern technology (e.g. relational database systems, analysis of verbal and numerical data, etc.) to develop and strengthen MTC day-to-day information flow and distribution, validating processes through performance measurements and program evaluations

Possess administrator level knowledge, skills and abilities to manage fully developed Microsoft SharePoint software website that was designed to inform both the MTC Staff and our supported customers

Basic Qualifications:

One of the following:

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of knowledge management and/or SharePoint experience

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of knowledge management and/or SharePoint experience

Master's degree in a technical discipline

Web site design experience, or equivalent, working in the Microsoft SharePoint environment or similar web-based collaboration software tools

Have experience designing and implementation of web interfaces and user content, collaboration tools and content management, and workflow processes.

Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

Meet the baseline requirements of DoDM 8140.03 and have a general understanding of knowledge architecture and how knowledge flows across people, processes, and available technology

Must be able to work on-site at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington

Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)

Preferred Qualifications:

Computing Environment (CE) certification

Minimum 10 years military experience

* Knowledge of TS-MATS system

Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
