Your Role
As a Junior Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Australia, you will support the broader software engineering team with planning, implementation, integration, and testing of software features.
Develop, test, and integrate reliable and maintainable software under the guidance of senior engineers.
Participate in code and document reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
Raise and manage tasks and defects using Atlassian JIRA.
Contribute to quality testing and integration of Software.
About You
You are a motivated team player with a passion for software engineering and a commitment to learning and continuous improvement. You will have either recently graduated or have under 2 years' experience.
Able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA NV1 security clearance
Hold relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Some knowledge or experience with Software development in Linux
environments and basic understanding of computer networking.
Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C, C++
