Pay:
This is a union role; the current rate is $31.09 per hour. This is non-negotiable.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must pass our onsite Mechanic 1/C skills test prior to interviewing.
  • Must possess a Universal Refrigeration Certification .
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Candidate must be flexible in accepting additional duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Maintain all necessary records and paperwork.
  • Availability to work any of the 3 shifts.
  • Must be able to work Overtime as required on an as needed basis.
  • Must show prior experience working as a trained HVAC Mechanic and or have past experience maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems.
Preferred Qualifications:

Candidate must have a thorough understanding of mechanical systems including but not limited to:
  • Conveyor Systems
  • Automated Production Machines
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on plant equipment
  • The ability to use CMMS, Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Theory and practice of refrigeration mechanics and controls, gear and pulley systems, air compressors, filters and dryers, and pumps
  • All types of HVAC/Refrigeration systems
Job Responsibilities:
  • Under minimum supervision, install, maintain, and repair water pumps, hydraulic systems, servo systems, controllers, and air conditioning & refrigeration systems.
  • Inspect, dismantle, repair, assemble, service & erect all types of mechanical and processing equipment.

Accountability : Work is frequently checked for quality, accountable for results to manager, supervisor, group/lead person, and project engineer(s).
