As a valued member of the team, this Administrative Assistant role will provide administrative support to the leaders of Talent Management & Organization Effectiveness, Critical Skills Development, and Leadership Development at our Falls Church, Virginia location.

This position is pivotal to the success of the organization and the successful candidate will demonstrate how they have supported prior teams with strong project management skills, excellent critical thinking skills, and exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
We are looking for a high energy, collaborative self-starter with exceptional communication and organization skills who loves working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. We are seeking an individual with a bias toward action who enjoys multi-tasking and is capable of flexing and adapting within the environment in which they work. The position requires the Administrative Assistant to perform duties with exposure to sensitive information necessitating the need for confidentiality, integrity and judgment.
The key responsibilities include:
Providing administrative support including, but not limited to managing calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, processing travel & expense reports, maintaining SharePoint sites and providing meeting support
Acting as a key focal point for communication on the team, including coordinating team meetings, communicating with stakeholders and help ensure the team stays ahead of upcoming deadlines and key milestones
Assisting with updating records/reports, managing, tracking, processing and compiling sensitive and confidential data
Handling confidential information with discretion and integrity, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Working closely with the Executive Assistants and other colleagues to provide support
Serving as a liaison across the Talent team, ensuring smooth operations and fostering collaboration.
Providing support to special projects across talent management, critical skills development, and leadership development initiatives as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma and a minimum of 6 years of experience as an administrative professional or Bachelor's degree with two years' experience as an administrative professional
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Primary Level Salary Range: $64,600.00 - $107,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
