Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Global Supply Chain Operation Manager 3 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a collection of Programs
Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)
Leads supply chain execution with accountability for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution
Oversee forecasting process, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution for GSC Materials and Subcontracts for CWI Programs
Collaboration with GSC Sector and Division leadership for operational efficiencies goals.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required to support GSC management and provide needed detail to business management in support of weekly and monthly forecast processes
Support applicable internal and external audits
Lead the development of communications, training plans, and procedure documentation in collaboration with Sector GSC.
Provides direction to subordinates using established policies, procedures, and precedents
Reviews and reports project status to internal customers on a monthly basis or as needed
Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and drive high levels of performance
Model and promote a strong sense of engagement, teamwork and cooperation
Deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and manage multiple tasks while demonstrating a professional attitude
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or other related discipline with a minimum of 12 years of directly related experience, Master's degree in business, finance, economics or other related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience
Through knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other applicable government regulations
Ability to perform and apply appropriate cost accounting, pricing and estimating methods, concepts and principles including the development and application of cost improvement curves and factors
Ability to work as an integral member of the GSC team to achieve Global Supply Chain, Program and sector objectives, while maintaining full compliance during all stages of the proposal and acquisition processes
Ability to initiate and effectively implement process improvement across the breadth of pricing and estimating policies and procedure
Must be able to work on-site in Huntsville, AL
Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)
Must have a current DOD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Working Knowledge of SAP

Salary Range: $162,300.00 - $243,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
