Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Industrial Security Analyst to fill a position as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for the Sykesville, MD facility, Power & Control System Operations Unit (OU) Security Lead, and Sykesville Site Security Lead. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee the Sykesville security program, ensuring compliance with the NISPOM and other governing security guidance across the Sykesville campus, programs, and its employees.
Interface direct with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency and Prime Contractor in support of on-going security tasks and requirements, investigations, and security audits.
As the PSC OU Security Lead, interface with the PCS OU Director and staff ensuring awareness of new and ongoing security requirements and affects to Sykesville programs and the campus.
Represent Security during staff meetings and provide consultation and advice based on Government and company security policies and procedures to Program Managers, functional staff and other team members.
Lead the Sykesville Insider Threat Hub; coordinate quarterly and ad hoc meetings with the hub team to review cases and recommend for investigation.
Oversee the management and physical accreditation of DoD Open Storage areas. Maintain the physical security integrity of the Sykesville facility/campus, to include oversight of guard support, operation of facility alarms, access control, CCTV, and emergency response and contingency planning.

Understand government policy and directives to be able to apply solutions to complex tasks/challenges/assignments that are compliant with policy.
Investigate security violations and prepare reports detailing the events and preventive/remedial actions to be taken.
Prepare for and participate in internal and external security compliance reviews and audits; lead and oversee corrective action planning and successful close out of all deficiencies.
Provide support to new business pursuits and classified solicitation activities.
Participate in monthly budget planning for security labor and expenses.
The candidate must have relevant experience in industrial security programs. In addition, the candidate must be able to communicate effectively, able to manage multiple tasks, make decisions in the midst of ambiguity, and meet deadlines. The successful candidate must be a self-starter that needs minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of Industrial Security/FSO/AFSO experience or Master's degree and 6+ years of Industrial Security/FSO/AFSO experience. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
Top Secret clearance required (must have a current investigation or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) within the last 5-years).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as an FSO or AFSO.
Working knowledge and experience with NISPOM, CUI/NNPI security standards and principles.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and security applications (SIMS, DISS, NISS)

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
