Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Facilities Representative - Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team in McLean VA.
Our Facilities Representative will ensure a safe and well-maintained environment by managing vendors, executing conferences and events, managing logistics, overseeing supplies, all while adhering to safety regulations and budgets.
This position plays a key role in managing workplace operations and space utilization to support both employee needs and organizational efficiency. Responsibilities include: overseeing space planning initiatives; ensuring optimal use of facilities; and, leveraging workplace management tools such as AgilQuest and Archibus to streamline reservations, track occupancy and support reporting needs.
This position can be filled at either a Level 3 or 4
Role and Impact:
Oversee building and equipment maintenance, including scheduling preventative maintenance and responding to urgent issues.
Manage service contracts and liaise with vendors and contractors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and functional workspace for employees.

Assist with organizing events and coordinating office moves or renovations.
Developing event concepts, goals, and objectives.
Creating event schedules and timelines.
Coordinating event logistics, including setup, decorations, and AV equipment.
Handling on-site event management and problem-solving.
Building and maintaining relationships with vendors.
Negotiating contracts and managing vendor payments.
Managing event databases and records.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience in facilities and/or conference events management - OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of professional experience in facilities and/or conference events management. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional experience in facilities and/or conference events management - OR - Master's degree with 6+ years of professional experience in facilities and/or conference events management. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
Additional Basic Qualifications for both levels:
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven expertise in planning and project management.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/clients.
Ability to interact effectively with a variety of management levels.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite - specifically high-level Excel skills.
No clearance required to start.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Northrop Grumman facilities and processes.

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
