EHS Business Partner

Based at RAAF Base Amberley, the EHS Business Partner plays a key role in supporting the delivery of Northrop Grumman Australia's Safety, Health & Wellbeing, Environment & Sustainability (SHWES) Strategy. Reporting to the EHS Lead, you'll provide hands-on guidance, compliance support, and drive a positive safety culture across all site operations.
Support local managers to ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and risk assessment processes.
Assist with the implementation and improvement of the Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems.
Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Prepare reports, data, and insights to support safety and sustainability initiatives.
Promote safe work practices and demonstrate a professional, proactive approach to EHS leadership.
Contribute to HSE projects and engage with committees to deliver annual inspection and improvement programs.
About You: *
You're a motivated safety professional who thrives in dynamic, high-risk environments. You bring strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a genuine commitment to fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing.
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent qualification).
Sound knowledge of WHS principles within high-risk or technical industries.
Strong communication, planning, and prioritisation skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
