The position located in El Segundo will focus on assembly.
The F-35 CF1 IPT Director is responsible for all phases of programs from inception through completion. This position is based in El Segundo, CA and responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of the Integrated Product Team, which will include the following responsibilities:

This position will manage and integrate product assembly and delivery into an effective high-performance team in coordination with functional management and shared services ensuring all contractual requirements are met.

This position also ensures that the operations and facilities have the capabilities and resources required to meet current and future needs.
This position requires and is responsible for on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet all contractual requirements and business objectives to internal and external customers.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment utilizing and improving established factory accountability processes.
This position provides leadership that fosters motivation and communication. Responsible for the continuous improvement of people, products, processes, systems and services by utilizing common best practices, and other appropriate tools and techniques.
Responsible for the management and mitigation of program and team risk and opportunities.
Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
The ability to lead high-rate production cross-functional teams in Advanced Composites, Assembly, and Fabrication.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience supporting U.S Government contracts and customers and/or aerospace manufacturing/project management in other industries OR Master's Degree and 10+ years' experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or aerospace manufacturing / project management in other industries
3+ years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team, and manufacturing operations.
Must have 5 years of Manufacturing Leadership experience
Must have the ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required) as well as the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special Access

Primary Level Salary Range: $217,300.00 - $325,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
