What You'll Get to Do:
The NTS Business Management Director will lead a 150 person staff and will have responsibility to orchestrate all business management functions including financial planning and reporting, managing discretionary (NCTA & Capital) investments, proposal cost development, indirect budgets, and program cost and schedule management.
The leader will collaborate with the division General Manager and associated Business Unit Vice Presidents to optimize all aspects of the business, balancing risk with growth opportunities to achieve the business unit's financial and strategic objectives. This individual will be responsible for leading the development and analysis of the long-range strategic plan (LRSP) and annual operating plan (AOP). The leader will also oversee financial forecasting, implementation of earned value, rate management, EACs/ETCs, and financial reporting.
The successful candidate must have a proven record of accomplishment in leading a diverse management team. Must have the ability to promote the professional development of the business management workforce and foster a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around employee engagement, affordability, innovation, value growth and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 10 years of progressive experience in multiple business management disciplines.
4 years supervisory experience managing managers as well as individual contributors.
Experience with financial planning and analysis and strategic planning (i.e. developing Long Range Strategic Plans and Annual Operating Plan).
Program budgeting and forecasting experience.
Earned Value and financial reporting experience.
Business case development experience.
Experience presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to senior executives.
In depth knowledge of DOD and commercial business models.
The willingness and ability to travel domestically a minimum of 25% of the time.
US Citizenship.
Current, active Secret clearance or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading large strategic new business captures.
Experience with Corporate finance projects including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Experience with Business Systems Implementation (SAP or other).
Salary Range: $203,900.00 - $305,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
