This position can be located at above-mentioned company locations in CA, AZ, UT, MD, VA, AL or FL and requires travel up to 20-25% of the time. It reports to the Senior Director, Culture & Engagement for GCR.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, launch and manage culture of belonging programs, campaigns and signature experiences that reflect our company values and support a workplace where all employees can thrive.

Partner with the Well-being and Community Managers to create integrated initiatives that support the whole employee and foster connection and purpose. It's critical you plan, design and refine all belonging programs in close coordination to create the best employee experience possible.

Create toolkits, resources and training materials to help managers and teams cultivate a sense of belonging.

Provide direct support to GCR Regional teams, helping them adopt your belonging programs and resources at the local level.

Serve as the regional Culture Reps' primary Culture advisor. Meet regularly with them to:


Share updates on enterprise belonging strategy and programs, so they can weave into their local engagement plans. Ensure the work they're doing at company sites is still aligned to enterprise strategy.

Keep them informed of enterprise-wide belonging initiatives; help them implement locally.

Help harmonize their practices across sites and regions.

Partner on ERG management and evaluation, helping them evolve their ERGs as necessary.

Gather feedback on your programming and resources - what's resonating with employees, what's affecting change, where gaps still exist and what additional resources are necessary

Partner with HR, Communications, and other key stakeholders to drive alignment across people programs and ensure consistent messaging around culture and values

Develop and manage an annual calendar of belonging and culture-related activations and campaigns.

Gather and analyze feedback and metrics to track program impact. Continuously improve programs, ensuring alignment with employee needs and business goals.

Manage the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) program, which includes:


Ensuring the ERG program is aligned to business strategy and objectives and effectively supporting a culture of belonging.

Serving as primary liaison and advisor to all ERG leaders and Executive Sponsors.

Assisting ERGs with annual leadership selection, planning and budgeting.

Ownership of all ERG governing resources and documents.

Managing company-wide ERG budget.

Managing all ERG platforms and tools.

Implementing a model to continuously evaluate ERG health and maturity

Stay informed on cultural trends, best practices, and emerging research to bring innovative ideas and insights to the organization.

Serve as a visible and trusted culture ambassador across the company.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communications or a related field and at least 8 years of experience; 6 years with a Master's degree

Minimum of 6 years of experience in employee engagement, organizational culture, or related area at a large company ($5b+ revenue).

Demonstrated success designing and implementing culture or employee experience programs at scale.

Proven ability to collaborate across functions and lead through influence in a highly-matrixed organization. This is not a people leadership role.

Experience supporting or managing employee groups or employee-led communities.

Strong project management, communication and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in change management, organizational psychology or behavioral science.

Familiarity with culture diagnostics, employee engagement surveys or analytics platforms.

Experience building integrated employee experience strategies that span culture, well-being and/or community impact.

Familiarity with global workforce engagement strategies, especially in hybrid environments.

Successful history of advising senior leaders and building executive sponsorship.

Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $193,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
