This role can be located in Roy, UT, Huntsville, AL, Mclean, VA or Linthicum, MD.

The Chief of Staff will act as the business operations representative for the Sector Vice President of Engineering and the engineering leadership team. This role is integral to the Engineering Leadership Team, providing strategic support and operational oversight.
Key responsibilities include:
Operational Management: Oversee the performance, scheduling, and execution of ongoing projects. Serve as a liaison between engineering and other functions to enhance operational execution.
Project Resolution: Assess project issues and develop solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
Monitoring and Intervention: Create mechanisms to track engineering goal progress and intervene as necessary to resolve issues.
Initiative Leadership: Identify and lead initiatives to improve and streamline engineering processes, focusing on operational goals and sector-specific objectives.
Meeting Facilitation: Prepare and facilitate various engineering meetings and events, including weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews, biweekly staff meetings, bi-annual leadership summits, and site visits.
Objective Integration: Align day-to-day operational objectives with organizational goals.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of work experience in engineering, project/program management or relevant business experience and a wide variety of project types (professional services, systems engineering/integration, software development, engineering, and operations).
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, and presentation skills
Demonstrated strong leadership and teamwork skills
Ability to travel domestically (up to 25%)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
MS or MBA degree in a technical, business, or related field
In-depth understanding of Northrop Grumman's corporate culture and proven experience navigating it effectively.
Ability to analyze program financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
Experience supporting complex programs and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to balance and influence competing priorities.
Comprehensive knowledge of company and sector engineering, operations, and program policies.
Current Secret security clearance.
Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $231,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
