The Certification Lead Engineer ensures the UAS Design Holder obligations are established and maintained while supporting Triton CAM Services. The Triton Certification Lead Engineer is a key leadership position within the Triton program and reports directly to the Triton Engineering and Technical Services Manager.
You will also have accountability for:

The Triton Certification Lead Engineer is responsible for the management of the NGA Triton Continued Airworthiness system.
Ensure the Design Safety Baseline is effectively managed and maintained against Technical Directives and Bulletins issued by USN FST, and that the UAS design's contribution to the System risk is characterised.
Advise the Engineering and Technical Services Manager where any certification policy or compliance issue may affect other policies or SRSPO contractual requirements.
Educate and train staff on regulatory and procedural requirements regarding Continued Airworthiness processes or procedures, including managing design changes and repairs.
Provide oversight of and direction to certification and assurance activities including cyber worthiness, ASI and PSI, software engineering, and system safety.
Conduct regular review and updates of Continued Airworthiness processes and procedures.
Contribute to the development of engineering procedures as part of continuous improvement activities.
Comply with NGA's policies and procedures.
About You:

The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV2
Engineering or Technical Equivalent Degree Level Qualifications (Engineers Australia Registered preferred)
Advanced Engineering/Technical/Management Degree
