Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a Business Planning Analyst level 2 or level 3 to support our growing business in our Rocket Center, West Virginia location.

Overview:
We are seeking a Project Scheduler who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Develops information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities. Determines customer requirements and translates these requirements into organizational plans.
The availability and hiring of this position is contingent upon NGC winning the program award.
  • Generate and maintain the program schedule in Microsoft Project
  • Load schedules with resource and cost information
  • Identify and track program risk in Microsoft Project
  • Coordinate schedule reviews and weekly status updates with team
  • Assist Program Manager in directing all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  • Supports the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Coordinates schedule management of a cross-functional team of associates with a wide range of skill sets, ensuring tasks of all team members are well understood and executed.
  • Ensures program-wide focus on schedule.
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules.
  • Identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Helps control expenditures within limitation of project budget.
  • Help develop and deliver presentations to management, and other program stakeholders.
Desired Attributes:
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Planning or scheduling experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Project
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Basic Qualifications:
  • Level 2: Bachelors degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree and at least 1 year of experience.
  • Level 3: Bachelors degree plus at least 6 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree and at least 4 year of experience.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
The availability and hiring of this position is contingent upon NGC winning the program award.

Salary Range: $68,500 - $102,700
Salary Range 2: $84,200 - $126,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
